The Story:

This car was an EBay find. We purchased it from a seller in Wentzville Missouri. We flew there, then drove the Falcon 2000 miles back to Reno Nevada. No problems other than the carburetor doesn't like high altitudes.

With no air-conditioning, some of the areas we traveled through were nearly too hot and humid to bear. We survived by spraying ourselves with cold water misters and drove as much as we could at night.

How I rate this purchase: Its not in bad shape. Some rust in the usual spots. Kind of a cheap paint job but a real good job on the interior. Grill and trim are in immaculate shape. Bumpers were real rough. Glass is all good. Everything works. Over all I think it was well worth the expenditure and not to mention I really like this car!

Pictures with newly Chromed Bumpers and new wheels and tires.
New skins and wheels.

 

Steering wheel adapter made from aluminum billet. Took about 1 hour to learn how to use a lathe and 1 hour to make. It is made for a 5-hole Grant style pattern and has holes drilled for 10-32 bolts and 1/4-28 hole pattern.
 
New 408 stroker.
