The purpose of this project is to adapt a CO2 cylinder in such a way as to allow it to fill tires, run air tools, and whatever else you can think of.

The information gathered to build this power cylinder came from an article at wt4wheeling.com (power cylinder how to)
The regulator came from Williams Balloons (CO2 regulator)

Things I have learned:
1. Buy a female regulator instead of a male. The bottle side of both regulators is female but the pipe thread side can be either male or female.
2. If you break off the male end of the regulator the regulator will be useless. If you break a fitting off inside of the female regulator you can simply tap out the regulator and replace the fitting.
3. Aluminum bottles can be found cheap if you put forth a little effort. I found a 20lb bottle filled for 75.00 at a place that fills fire extinguishers. A 20lb bottle is about 27" to the top of the valve handle and approximately 7" or 8" in diameter.
4. Make sure you get a bottle with a "CGA 320 valve". This valve is very common and makes the bottle legal to fill. Also make sure your bottle has been recently hydro tested and stamped with the test date on the bottle.
5. Weigh the bottle filled and empty. This will tell you when the bottle is near empty.
Total Price:          123.00
Regulator -            40.00
Bottle (filled 20lb)  75.00
Hose -                     5.00
Quick connectors -  3.00
