Start welding

Wear all the protective gear that a welder should wear. 

Welding may be tricky at first. The voltage must be at least 70-80 volts to burn 1/8 rod. 1500 rpm on my jeep motor equals 50 volts on the voltmeter. 2500 rpm equals 100 volts and is ideal for  5/32 or 1/8 - #7018 welding rod. Play around with different voltages to get the bead just right.  

This welder can also power any AC electrical device (drill, dremmel, fan) that has a motor and has "brushes" in the motor. You will need at least 70-110vdc to make the AC motor spin. Do not power anything AC that doesn't have brushes unless you have a power inverter.
